ABOUT ME
I have been in the gaming industry for 10+, most of it spent in and influenced by Silicon Valley. Throughout my career I have become most passionate with the intersection of technology, sociology, and gamified experiences.
I studied at the University of Southern California where my focus was in game design, AR, VR, serious games, & organizational design. My Bachelor's Degree is in Interactive Media & Games; my Master's in Educational Psychology & Instructional Technology. I've previously worked at the Walt Disney Company, Knowledge Adventure, and USC's Institute for Creative Technologies. I designed games at Zynga & have worked on titles such as FrontierVille, FarmVille, ChefVille, Zynga's Social Casino Division, and Words With Friends. I had the fortunate experience being mentored by industry titans such as Mark Pincus, Bing Gordon, and mentors with backgrounds at major studios such as EA, Bungie, Microsoft, and Amazon. I paved the way for continued innovation on social media platforms through partnerships with major tech companies such as Facebook, SnapChat, and Apple. I directed and pitched high beta concepts for Zynga's R&D team. This work has been recognized through the company's Innovator Award for breaking new grounds in the social gaming industry. I am hungry for next gen gaming and am excited to see what Gen-Z is bringing to the industry with their fresh social and gaming habits. Today I am honing in on vision crafting, branding, and scaling teams to do their best word. I love what I do and can't imagine a different life.
When I'm not designing games, I am working on change management organization company wide by partnering with People Operations to ensure employees support & resources for their career development. I've been on boards for employee resource groups dedicated to providing a positive atmosphere for employees through workshops & events. I also wrote the social mobile games curriculum for USC's School for Cinematic Arts, through a partnership with Zynga and the University of Southern California. It's a dream come full circle & hopefully one day you and I can collaborate to make our creative endeavors come to life.

Game Design
When a game project is first starting, I perform this work. As the team scales, I set the goals and coach design leads on larger teams & act as final approver of the work. When teams are resource strapped, I often start the work and maintain until resources become available.
